The organizations where Manique Gunaratne, ICT professional and accessibility advocate, has served are a veritable who’s-who of disability pioneers across Sri Lanka and the Asia Pacific. In addition to her primary role as Manager of the Specialized Training and Disability Resource Centre at the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC), Manique also represents Sri Lanka at several international bodies, chairs and sits on numerous nonprofits’ boards, and has received awards and recognition from foundations as far afield as Ireland, the US, and Japan.
