A coherent set of rituals and customs have been practiced during Amazigh wedding ceremonies (Tmagra) since ancient times, especially among the people of Souss (a region in central Morocco) and Adrar (the largest province in Algeria). However, in recent years, these traditions have gone into decline, making way for new customs that align more closely with the exigencies of the modern era.
